Filmmaker

Pick up a camera. Shoot something. No matter how small, no matter how cheesy, no matter whether your friends and your sister star in it. Put your name on it as director. Now you’re a director. Everything after that you’re just negotiating your budget and your fee.
James Cameron

A filmmaker has almost the same freedom as a novelist has when he buys himself some paper.
Stanley Kubrick

I don't think of myself as a director or writer. I think of myself as a filmmaker.
Conrad Hall

I feel like I'm a filmmaker; I don't feel I need to yell action and cut.
John Cusack

I live in New York City, the stories of my films take place in New York; I'm a New York filmmaker.
Spike Lee

I've always considered myself a filmmaker who writes stuff for himself to do.
Quentin Tarantino

In England, I'm a horror movie director. In Germany, I'm a filmmaker. In the US, I'm a bum.
John Carpenter

People have forgotten how to tell a story. Stories don’t have a middle or an end any more. They usually have a beginning that never stops beginning.
Steven Spielberg

Anyone looking to stream the World Cup? Look No Further

Stream the World Cup

This is by far the best website I have found to stream the World Cup. I have been watching every game I can. When I am not actually working! I only grab links from here

iPhone 4 was released to day

NYC "It's a big day for Apple fans. Today marks the arrival of iPhone 4, and hundreds of consumers are waiting outside stores around the world to get their hands on the smartphone. By 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 100 people had already lined up outside Apple's store in New York, 12 hours ahead of when the smartphone went on sale. Simran and Gunisha Singh, a couple from Manhattan, were braced for a long night. "We brought the entire Harry Potterseries," said Gunisha. By 6:00 a.m. Thursday, the Singhs were still in high spirits. "Fifth Avenue isn't the best place for a nap, but this is definitely worth it," says Simran. The line swelled from the night before to include thousands of people, wrapping around the block. Security guards and Apple employees kept the crowd in check. Attempts to buy a place in line also grew more fervent. "People were offering $800 to $1000 for a spot up front," says Simran."

$1000 to give up your place in line! If I had realized something like that would have been going down, I would have sat there for 12 hours. You bet your ass. You could by 2 iPhone and still have a great time. Next iPhone release I'm going to NYC with a crew of people. 5 people could make over $4,000 guaranteed!

New Movie I can't wait to see

"Dinner for Schmucks" tells the story of Tim (Paul Rudd), a guy on the verge of having it all. The only thing standing between him and total career success is finding the perfect guest to bring to his boss' annual Dinner for Extraordinary People, an event where the winner of the evening brings the most eccentric character as his guest. Enter Barry (Steve Carell), a guy with a passion for dressing mice up in tiny outfits to recreate great works of art.

Paul Rudd, Zach Galifianakis, and Steve Carell... Enough said

East Bound and Down

"Remember that class where I taught y’all how to make it rain? That’s what I’m going to be doing. Every. Single. Night. Dollar dollar bills, ya'll" Kenny Powers
This is by far the best show on Television and it is back for a second season!! I have been waiting for ever to see David McBride play Kenny Powers again. Not only is he rude and completely out of line, but he is hilarious!
