15-million-year-old...Wow thats old!
15-million-year-old marsupial fossils discovered in Outback - USATODAY.com
SYDNEY — Scientists have discovered a cave filled with 15-million-year-old fossils of prehistoric marsupials in the Outback, a rare find that has revealed some surprising similarities between the creatures and modern-day kangaroos and koalas.
The cave includes several well preserved fossils, including 26 skulls from an extinct, wombat-like marsupial called Nimbadon lavarackorum, an odd sheep-sized creature with giant claws.
The findings were described this week in theJournal of Vertebrate Paleontology.
"It's extraordinarily exciting for us," said Mike Archer, paleontologist atUniversity of New South Wales and co-author of the article.
"It's given us a window into the past of Australia that we simply didn't even have a pigeonhole into before. It's an extra insight into some of the strangest animals you could possibly imagine," he said.
Researchers have been digging at the site, in the Riversleigh World Heritage fossil field in northwest Queensland state, since 1990 and discovered the first of the Nimbadon skulls in 1993.
What were they all doing in there? There were a lot of fossiles found in this location in the Outback. 26 skulls!! It brings up the question: why were they all together? Was someone trying to save them from something? Where they sacrificed from some reason? Or did this cave form after they were already decomposing?
Maybe someone in the future has a time machine and went back intime to hord them all together so one day we will be able to find them? That would be crazy but I dont think it was true. I think its more probable that a caveman had them as a pet. Or maybe he started the first farm, but obviously did not do a good job of it!!!

Can we get this on every block?
I hate when you are trying to catch a train home at the end of the day and the only way you can make it is to weave like a mad man. It is a pain in the ass. If we have designated haves of the sidewalk, then it would make it much easier. You can tell someone is a tourist if they a. are looking up at buildings; b. have a camera around their neck; c.if they stop for sightseeing tours and people handing out fliers on the sidewalk; d. are constantly looking at a map to find their way around; an finally if they are walking on the tourist side of the sidewalk!

Does this look like a Skateboard?
Its got grip tape, 4 wheels, and rolls on the ground. It even grinds on rails and coping. Rob Dyrdek has made another Fantasy into a reality. He made a car into a skateboard. Well not him personally but he had the experts at Monster Energy Drink do it for him.
Rob is out of his mind an almost everything he thinks of not only works but is a hit! I wouldn't be surprised if this is a new sport at the X-Games with then the next couple of years!

NBA JAM REMIX!!

This little kid is nasty. He is busting moves that I can only do in Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX. I love how he doesn't even have peddles. He just keep pumping with his feet. Check out his first 180 at about 40 seconds. Its followed by the completely unnecessary climb up the rock cave to jump off. Out of nowhere he gets to a skate park? But in the end he makes it school. Have you ever been that drunk at a party? I know I have but I dont believe I have ever humiliated myself as bad as this kid does.
First of all, he looks like his is 12 why the hell is he drinking anyway? I bet that tables weighs more than he does.
I like how he slams his feet before he starts. Need to get pumped up to impress everyone at the party. He takes a nice one footed leap followed by a good double leg extension. But where he fails in not breaking the table. Just a few more pounds and maybe he will get it. Talk about whiplash! Im surprised his head is still attached to his body.
After that one I think he deserves a few more beers. Way to go 12 year old!
How did these people survive?
I have no clue how they survived this. The truck lands on top of so many people. It would suck to be the person hanging out of the back window. She is just going along from the entire ride. If I was in the bed of the truck and it was swerving like that, I would definitely think about jumping out before something serious happend. In this case something serious did happen.
If the driver survived the flip, which it looks like they did, I would rally the troops and beat there ass for driving like a dick when the who town is in the bed of his truck!

Does she not realize that she has completely f'ed up her life already? Everyone knows she is into drugs and heavy alcohol abuse. She needs to grow up and take credit for her actions already. We all know that you were a big star when you were younger, but not so much anymore. Just because you were famous at one point in time does not mean that you will be able to get out of any trouble you are in. Look at Charley Sheen, He is making almost 2 million an episode for a hit tv show. He still went to jail for assaulting his wife.

Many of the blasts result from decrepit wiring, which can lead to sparks. Throw in a bit of gas and a confined space and, like a combustion engine, the blast can move metal.
Yesterday, it hit 103 degrees in NYC. It was so hot out that the man holes were catching fire!! You would think that it would stay cooler under ground. But not in NYC. I stepped out of the office to grab some lunch and it felt like someone has a hair dryer 2 inches away from my face! The worst part is that its going to be extremely hot again today!
